Welcome to The Guy with the Bow Tie Consulting (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, digital content, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By visiting our site, booking a session, purchasing a product, or otherwise engaging with our Services, you (“you,” “your,” or “Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept every provision, please do not use the Services.

1. Scope of Services

We provide career‑development resources—such as résumé and cover‑letter reviews, interview preparation, salary and benefits negotiation coaching, and academic or major‑selection advising—strictly for general educational purposes. We are not acting as attorneys, financial advisors, psychologists, or tax professionals. Any guidance you receive is informational only; final decisions remain solely your responsibility.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old—or have verifiable parental/guardian consent—to engage our Services. By using the site, you represent that you meet these requirements and have authority to enter into these Terms.

3. Booking, Fees & Payment

Booking. Sessions are scheduled on a first‑come, first‑served basis via our online calendar or by direct email confirmation.
Fees. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Refunds. Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled once without additional charge; payments are otherwise non‑refundable. Digital products and downloadable resources are final sale.

4. No Guarantees

We strive to deliver accurate information and actionable strategies; however, career outcomes depend on factors beyond our control (e.g., market conditions, employer decisions, personal performance). Therefore, we do not warrant that you will obtain a particular job, salary, admission, or other result.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama (without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles). Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you reside outside Alabama, you may wish to substitute your own governing jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on our website. Changes become effective upon posting; continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
